Guanxi is often seen as a special characteristic that shapes doing business in China through family networks and wider personal social relationships. This research compares the situation in different parts of “Greater China” – mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong and explores topics like entrepreneurship, venture capital, intergenerational succession, disputes, family businesses in different sectors of the economy, particularly family businesses.
