Evaluation of the decision-making process for urban public transport in India: A Delphi approach
The government of India has proposed and constructed various mass rapid transit projects, such as metro rail and bus rapid transit system (BRTS) projects, under the purview of the National Urban Transport Policy (NUTP), Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) and other such schemes. The study identifies 12 issues and their priorities in the decision-making process of selecting a public transport (MRTS) mode to implement.

Modelling the activity travel pattern of commuters in a medium-sized city in India
This paper explores the factors influencing a worker’s decision to choose an activity pattern for commuting in India. Activity and travel information collected by a home interview survey had formed the database for the study, which focused on the medium-sized city of Calicut in Kerala.
